Description:
Dimension Technologies Pty Limited has developed approximately 2 hours of
computer based training for Lysaght Building Industries; now BHP Building
Products.
The CBT introduces the Lysaght 'Vision' and then discusses five important 'key programs' introduced by Lysaght in order to make the organisation more customer oriented.
The programs are:
- Quality Management
- Employee Development
- Australian Standard AS3902
- Job Goal Reviews
- Performance Related Payment System
There is extensive use of realistic case studies related to each topic. The CBT also uses role playing to explore the consequences of different decisions; both correct and incorrect, within each case study. The roles are drawn from Production, Sales, Administration, Management and Delivery.
Lysaght markets about 20,000 different products from 28 sites around Australia and employs approximately 1,100 persons.
