Description:

The Macquarie Dictionary on CD-ROM presents the definitions, word history etc of approximately 120,000 words and phrases. Searches may be conducted on Words/Phrases, Definitions and Word History using Exact, Looks Like (Wild-card) or Sounds Like search types. Compound searches may also be made using And, Or operators. The dictionary may be used in either word search or A-Z Browse mode. Definitions etc may be saved to file or printed.
